Genesis

In non-exchange traded commodities or aptly put as physically exchanged commodities the sellers and buyers face many challenges.​ The founders of Namagro realised that there were very few to none professional origin based brokers providing solutions to bridge the gaps of culture, counter party KYC, risk management, technical processing know – how etc. It was the global corporates controlling the business leaving the small and medium enterprises at their mercy to trade. This Gap was identified which led to the birth of Namagro in Vietnam.​ Peoples Agriculture or Namagro was born to do capability building of small collectors to graduate them from local traders to credible export houses.

Risk manager​

Namagro quickly positioned itself as a risk manager since inception. Bringing international buyers closer to farmgate came with its risks and the team at Namagro by virtue of their background acts as a risk manager rather than a mere broker.  ​Our team actively manages the following risks:​ Market risks such as- Price, Credit, Currency; Soverign risk,​ Operational risks, Quality & Regulatory risks, etc.​ Once a deal is done we manage the entire contract lifecycle from contracting to payments bringing peace of mind to our clients.​
